Photography Workshops Around The UK

Meet The Workshop Hosts

Kevin Williams-1jpeg.jpg

Kevin Williams DPAGB, BPE3, AWPF

Kevin is a versatile photographer known for producing award-winning images across various genres.

He has earned national recognition from the PAGB and AWPF, and won the prestigious Landscape Photographer of the Year award in the Urban View category in 2022. Kevin's work has been featured in numerous magazines and books throughout the UK.

Passionate about teaching, Kevin enjoys guiding clients on photo workshops, helping them identify winning landscape compositions and using natural and studio lighting to create stunning images. He is also skilled in image processing using Lightroom and Photoshop.

When planning workshops, he loves the preparation involved in ensuring the best conditions for his clients. He uses a combination of Google Earth, TPE, tide times, and weather forecasts to maximise the light for the best shooting opportunities. He often scouts locations in advance to check parking and paths, ensuring his clients are well-prepared. It’s incredibly satisfying to know that his clients have captured excellent images.

Jackie Gillman-Dace CPAGB, BPE2

Jackie is a wedding photographer who excels in capturing candid moments. “The feeling at the end of a wedding day, knowing you’ve captured the love and happiness of the couple and their guests, is just wonderful."

In her spare time, Jackie enjoys street and landscape photography, especially during dramatic weather conditions, and feels most at home by the sea. Living on a farm in rural Suffolk, she spends a lot of time in nature, photographing deer, birds, and bluebells in the woodlands. She also creates abstract compositions using techniques like ICM and multiple exposures.

Jackie's other passion is photographing the night sky, particularly the Aurora Borealis. “After a trip to Iceland over 10 years ago, I vowed to learn how to photograph the Aurora after witnessing it without the skills to capture it. Since 2021, during a period of high solar activity, I’ve built a portfolio of varied Aurora images taken locally."

“I’m a people person, and I absolutely love sharing my knowledge. If I can help anyone create a beautiful image or improve their camera or editing skills, then I’m a happy bunny.”

Some Feedback From Our Workshop Attendees

My first attempt at model photography. Jackie, Kev and Alice (the model) made the whole

experience less daunting than I expected, thank you.
